What a day!!
I was watching the weather for days leading up to our Family Fun Day at Haigh Hall, every time I checked it said rain ! Sunday arrived and the sky was blue, it was warm, and according to my weather app it was only due to rain mid afternoon.
It was so great to see families again, and what a change in the kids, you don't realise just how much they grow in 18 months ! It was fantastic to see so many familiar smiling faces and meet some new families too.
Lots of activities including Low ropes, high ropes, bushcraft, clay creatures and adventure golf. A special thank you to Hayley and Neil from One Together CIC for providing the craft activities for the day.
All in all the day was a great success, the rain held off until about the last hour, some people getting very wet on the Adventure Golf I believe, but still happy faces all around.
