Hi I'm Emma and I've been involved with WLDCS over the past two years, primarily running the Youth Events for our older children.

I am proud to now take on the role of Co-Chair with Rachel and hope to drive the charity forward to deliver opportunities and support to deaf children and their families, across Wigan and Leigh.

As a Qualified Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People I hope that I can bring my understanding of deaf education to the charity, whilst offering deaf children the chance to thrive outside of the classroom too!

I'm excited for the range of fun events we hope to run in the next 12 months.
