Hi, my name is Emma and I am a Qualified Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People. I work for the Specialist Sensory Education Team in Wigan and I'm also a Trustee for WLDCS.

I became involved with WLDCS because some of the children I support needed a little encouragement to socialise with their deaf peers. I went along to one event, and the rest, as they say, is history.

I enjoy helping to run some of the youth events and I'm excited to get a Duke of Edinburgh Award group up and running soon!
